Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology - Program Manager BB&T Grant Position

DESCRIPTION OF BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs a variety of complex and highly responsible administrative and program support activities for the Building Maintenance and Repair - grant funded program This two year grant, 25 hours per week, is focused on pursuing the systematic incorporation of industry-valued employability skills in 6 construction trade areas, culminating with a capstone project. The Program Manager will hire and manage the instructors in Masonry, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electric, Construction Finishing, and Construction Capstone.
They will continue the work partnership for the capstone projects within the City of Lancaster.
Other

Duties:
● Administers the day-to-day activities and operations of the building maintenance and repair Workforce Training Grant; develops annual program plan; ensure completion of program requirements; market and enroll participants in the program.
● Develops, coordinates, and administers the project/program budget; monitors and controls expenditures; prepares and submits required all necessary fiscal and accounting records required by the grant.
● Plans and develops training sessions to promote the program at Career Link and spends at least two days a month at Career Link.
● Minimum Requirements: Associates Degree in construction management or closely related field two years of teaching experience in the construction trades area.
● Progressively responsible experience in projects management sensitivity and commitment to working with diverse populations.
